Dr. Aakash Thakkar

Dr. Aakash Thakkar is an Ayurveda physician specializing in Nādi Parikshā, Panchakarma, Agnikarma, Marma Chikitsa, preventive healthcare, and lifestyle-based wellness management. His clinical approach is rooted in traditional Ayurvedic principles while remaining practical and relevant to modern health concerns.

He completed his Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) from Sri Sri College of Ayurvedic Science and Research, Bengaluru, and also holds a Diploma in Business Management (DBM) from NMIMS. His professional experience includes working as an Ayurveda Physician consulting with Sri Sri Wellbeing / Sri Sri Tattva, AyurCentral – Sarvahitha Ayurvedalaya Pvt. Ltd., and Gurukrupa Homeocure Clinic.

Dr. Aakash specializes in digestive health, stress-related concerns, lifestyle disorders, women’s health, child wellness, Rasayana-based rejuvenation, Panchakarma planning, preventive healthcare, and long-term wellness guidance.

He is the founder of Hridveda, an Ayurveda-based wellness initiative created to make authentic Ayurveda practical, accessible, and meaningful for individuals and families. Through Hridveda, he offers personalized care based on each person’s constitution, condition, lifestyle, and long-term health goals, with emphasis on regular follow-up and sustainable wellness practices.

Service, Art & Inner Discipline

Dr. Aakash is an ardent devotee and disciple of Gurudev Sri Sri Ravi Shankar Ji and has been associated with The Art of Living (A non-profit, educational and humanitarian organization) as a volunteer since 2006. He is also an Art of Living Teacher.

Alongside his medical practice, he is a Hindustani Classical Flautist, music composer, meditator, mentor, and multi-linguist. These dimensions enrich his work with a broader understanding of discipline, awareness, creativity, and service to society.
